Wizz Air reveals unbeatable price for first united kingdom budget flights to Saudi Arabia

The Hungarian-based carrier will begin flying between London Gatwick and Jeddah from March 31 next year using a new Airbus A321XLR plane Wizz Air is set to revolutionise budget travel from the UK to Saudi Arabia with its announcement of “unbeatable fares” for flights to Jeddah. Starting March 31 next year, the airline will operate services from Gatwick Airport in West Sussex to Jeddah using the brand-new Airbus A321XLR aircraft. The company has an order of 47 of these planes and plans to station the first one it receives at Gatwick. These jets boast an impressive flying time of up to 11 hours and are designed to consume up to 30% less fuel per seat compared to their predecessors. Jozsef Varadi, Wizz Air’s chief executive, said: “The Airbus A321XLR is the most cost-efficient aircraft in its class.” He highlighted the plane’s extended range, which not only strengthens Wizz Air’s existing network but also paves the way for further growth by bridging more cultures, economies, and continents.
