The GEN Travel Caravan: A Journey of Sustainability

The Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) is a non-profit organization that aims to promote sustainable living and community development. To achieve this goal, GEN has launched the first-ever “Travel Caravan” which will embark on a month-long journey across various ecovillages in India. The caravan will be a mobile hub for sustainability, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a team of dedicated volunteers.

The GEN Travel Caravan will be equipped with the following features:

    The caravan will travel from Delhi to Pondicherry, covering a distance of over 1,000 kilometers. Along the way, it will visit various ecovillages and interact with their residents, sharing knowledge and best practices on sustainable living and community development.

    The caravan will cover a distance of approximately 3,000 kilometers.

    The Journey Begins: Delhi to Pondicherry

    The caravan’s epic journey will commence on February 1 from Delhi, marking the beginning of a month-long adventure across nine eco communities. The first leg of the journey will cover a distance of approximately 1,000 kilometers, taking the caravan through the states of Haryana and Punjab. Key highlights of the first leg:
