As part of the campaign, social media influencers will visit major tourism destinations in Wayanad and create content that will help catapult the unique features of the district More than 30 social media influencers from the South Indian states on September 17 converged to reaffirm their unwavering support to the tourism activities of Wayanad that witnessed devastating landslides recently. Initiating the campaign, Tourism and Public Works Minister P A Mohamed Riyas launched the official video of Tourism Department, “Ente Keralam Ennum Sundaram,” at Mananthavady in the district. Outside Kerala, the campaign will take off under the tagline “It’s Kerala Season.”
The campaign, titled “Kerala: The Backwaters of Paradise,” focuses on showcasing the serene beauty and unique cultural experiences of Kerala’s backwaters. Influencers are chosen based on their large following and engagement rates, ensuring their reach to a wider audience. The campaign is expected to generate significant interest and drive tourism to Kerala.
