Continuing Medical Education workshop returns to Cook Islands

The workshop, organized by the New Zealand Ministry of Health, focused on improving healthcare delivery in the Pacific Islands. The workshop was attended by doctors from both rural and urban areas of the Kiwi doctors, and it was a valuable opportunity for them to learn from each other and share best practices. The workshop was a success, with participants expressing satisfaction with the content and the opportunity to connect with their counterparts in the Cook Islands. The workshop also provided a platform for the doctors to discuss challenges and opportunities in healthcare delivery in the Pacific Islands. The workshop was a significant step towards improving healthcare delivery in the Pacific Islands.

The workshop, titled “Building Bridges: Strengthening Primary Healthcare in the Cook Islands,” is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health and the Te Marae Ora. The workshop aims to address the challenges and opportunities facing primary healthcare in the Cook Islands. The workshop will be held in Rarotonga, on the island of Cook Islands, from 20th to 22nd of October 2023.
